You and a friend launch a startup. You split the pie 50/50 because it feels fair, right? Nope!

Reality check: less than half of founders did 50/50 in 2025

Three founders? Equal 33.3% shares show up in only 27.3% of cases. Four founders? You see the chart…

Moral: there are no sacred rules carved into early-stage marble. Equity follows contribution, leverage, timing, sweat (and ego). If you truly bring more—aim for more!

Как правило идея стартапа принадлежит одному человеку. Чаще всего это у него горят глаза и он вкладывает туда всю свою энергию свои ресурсы. И вы правы, что здесь многое зависит от амбиций и эго этого человека. Привлекая в стартап партнёров он чаще всего делегирует часть задач и % предлагается соизмеримо.
