A year ago, companies begged staff to use AI. Some firms pay bonuses for burning the most tokens. Mission accomplished. Now we're drowning. Meet AI agent sprawl!

Imagine 5k people corp. Dozens of new agents created daily. They plugged into corp mail. Customer data. Internal docs. Some duplicate each other. Some are security holes. All of them burn tokens/cash

Gartner says the Fortune 500 will soon run 150,000 agents that listen, speak, and act (like Placy.ai 👋). 150k. Bigger than most armies! They write emails. Sign SaaS contracts. Ping the CEO at 6am…

My bet: the next startup wave will be kill switches. The DevOps of agents. Boring on a pitch deck. Gold in five years. Anyone already building this? Drop a comment👇

Office scene metaphor for AI agent sprawl: a lone person in a control-room-like office surrounded by floating agent icons and token-usage charts.
Visual metaphor for agent sprawl and token costs; a person attempts to 'catch' runaway AI agents.

Building exactly this! Not just kill switches- governance-by-design inside the cognitive loop. Agents with trust-tiered memory, cryptographic audit chain, and bounded autonomy that can't drift outside their scope. The problem isn't just too many agents, it's that none of them have memory or governance built in architecturally. That's what I'm solving.
