We came up with the 😇Placy idea on Halloween 2 years ago. Took 7 months to build infra, open a Cyprus bank account (hardest part), and train bots to sell homes (related post). MVP in July, €1M pre-seed in September 2024. The first year moved incredibly fast!
Second year? We tested Placy Lead Qualification Tool (a text/voice bot integrated with CRM/WhatsApp/phone) with a half of hundred B2B clients. Most subscribed €6k/year. First revenue. Hurray (and relief)
Sacrificed rapid expansion and went for “prove PMF on a small pilot market” (related post). Now Placy leads its niche in Cyprus, expanding into Greece, Spain, and the UAE. Runway: 6 months. Boo
2024 was quick. 2025 feels like swimming through a swamp of custom integrations and tech debt. Diving deeper into the property deal workflow. Hiring more engineers…
